To Ergostasio, as it is still known today, continues to be held in great regard.
It is a monument which allows us to explore the past, keeping its memory alive, awakening precious moments from yesteryear, while simultaneously creating new ones…all this in the beautiful village of Kaloxylos, once known as To Mikro Parisi (The Little Paris) for its elegance and beauty.
Visitors have the opportunity to discover the place where the oil press originally operated and see for themselves the impressive diesel-powered generator.
The press will also offer a small selection of products, including extra-virgin olive oil and olives. During the day tastings of olive oil will be scheduled, featuring a presentation by olive oil sommelier, Erika Haidemenaki, (Malotira, Greek Deli Products).
